At Samuel Ward the training school is at the heart of our drive to produce a world class teaching force. Our commitment to high quality initial training and to transforming CPD is second to none.
We are committed to providing a training school ethos that transforms teaching and learning; ours is a learning school, were we see learning as a life-long process within a culture for growth

We are outward looking, innovatively leading the way in recruiting, training and developing staff. Our cutting edge practice and expert knowledge is disseminated through collaborative outreach with partner schools, ITT providers and other agencies. .
Increasingly our work has a global dimension through our links with Europe, India and China. This year we have Chinese students from Beijing working with our sixth form
